This afternoon/evening we went house hunting with our realtor. We have expanded beyond the area we were originally looking at to include some neighborhoods in Northeast Omaha and we also looked at a house in Bellevue. We love the Papillion/Bellevue area and all the wonderful access we have down here, but it just looks unrealistic that we will be able to stay (the house we looked at had major foundation issues). However, we found a pretty good house that met a lot of our specifications in Northeast Omaha. The kids and I plan to go out with our realtor again this week and filter through some more homes in the original area to see what they are like (most of them have "no additional pictures") and then we'll take Ryan back to see the ones that make the cut.
The pressure is on! We have been stalling our process to wait for a special loan that was originally supposed to be out in February and has been moved back to April. We are down to our deadline for making an offer and leaving enough time to get out of our apartment by the time our lease is up. We know that God will provide a house for us that will meet our familial needs, with or without the special loan.

I know from experience that house hunting is a hard job. Hang in there as God has the right one and you'll know it when you see it!
