Backaches & Sniffles

Yes, I am getting old. It has barely been 11 days since my birthday and I am feeling it. There has been something wrong with my back since Sunday. It was only magnified by the hard pew I sat it. Every time I go to sleep, my back cements itself in place, making it nearly impossible to leap out of bed when Sydney wakes up during the night (this has been a regular practice lately). Now, I have caught Ryan's virus from last week, which adds a sore/froggy throat, a cough, and a stuffy head to the mix. It doesn't help that I have to get up at 5:30 a.m. When, oh when will this misery end?
